DC SCHOOL ACCOUNTABILITY SCORES DASHBOARD

DC has one of the most equitable school accountability models with more than half the score reflecting performance of students in priority groups. This dashboard makes these scores accessible to the public.

LAST UPDATE: December 2025 with data from OSSE report card raw data files that can be found here. Every DC traditional and public charter school receives an overall accountability score in compliance with national Title I requirements. The performance of priority groups like economically disadvantaged, students with disabilities, and English learners count more towards a school’s overall score, even if they make up a small proportion of the school population.

Welcome to the 2024-25 DC School Accountability Score dashboard. The top half of the dashboard displays overall school ratings, and the bottom half of the dashboard shows school results by rating sub scores that comprise the overall rating. Our default sub score view is set to "economically disadvantaged students" (in elementary school) as the performance and improvement of those students is central to our mission. Subgroup scores are broken down by grade band — elementary (ES), middle (MS), and high (HS). You may select one or more schools to highlight by using CTRL+Click. Thank you to OSSE for making the raw data available to power this dashboard. Friendship Blow Pierce Middle School is the default school highlighted in the dash because they earned a Bold Performance School award at this year’s DC Bold Schools celebration event and have the highest accountability score for middle school economically disadvantaged students.
