Capital AI Education Collective Timeline
Launch of pilot AI Education projects in schools across the city by following a similar data-driven, design-focused blueprint that made the District a national leader in high impact tutoring implementation.
Spring-Summer 2027
The Collective will host the city’s first AI Education Summit, bringing together school leaders, educators, policymakers, researchers, and tech entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges and opportunities for best practice when it comes to utilizing GenAI and other AI products in schools. All details will be posted here when available!
Fall-Winter 2026-27
EK12 will co-host catalyst dinners with school leaders as well as education stakeholder groups to share about the latest research on AI in schools and learn about what challenges different groups are most interested in collecting data around to tackle together.
