EDUCATION THROUGH EMPLOYMENT PATHWAYS DASHBOARDS
In partnership with the DC Deputy Mayor for Education’s Office of Education through Employment Pathways (ETEP), EK12 will create dashboards for schools that help leaders understand the college and career outcomes of students after they leave high school.
ETEP Project Update + Timeline
Public versions of school and district level dashboards will be made available to stakeholders.
Spring 2027
Schools and districts receive access to dashboards that summarize postsecondary outcomes of students after they left high school. EK12 staff will provide training and technical support for district leaders to increase understanding of the data. We anticipate that leaders will be able to see the following data about students:
College persistence and completion rates
Career and Technical Education (CTE) program enrollment, concentrator, and completion status
Employment by industry and wage information
Fall-Winter 2026-27
EK12 will co-host engagement sessions with DC public charter and DCPS staff as well as education stakeholder groups like the DC Council, DC Education Research Collaborative, and parent advocacy organizations. The purpose of these sessions are to educate groups about the ETEP database and learn what information we should prioritize in the first dashboards.
